What is THC-O?
THC-O (or tetrahydrocannabinol) is the main active ingredient in marijuana. It is responsible for most of the plant’s psychological effects, such as producing a feeling of euphoria and relaxation. In its pure form, THC-O is a white, crystalline solid that has a slightly bitter taste. When added to the plant material and smoked, it produces an intense, often pleasurable high.

THC-O works on the brain by stimulating cannabinoid receptors, which are found throughout the body. These receptors are involved in regulating many bodily processes, including mood and emotion. The short term effects of consuming THC-O include feelings of relaxation, heightened senses and creativity; however long term use can have adverse impacts on mental health such as paranoia or anxiety disorders due to changes in neurotransmitter levels caused by excessive stimulation of certain brain areas associated with pleasure and reward systems. Additionally chronic use increases tolerance to the drug leading to higher dosages being necessary for an individual to achieve desired results over time – this can lead to greater potential for abuse or dependency if not monitored carefully or used responsibly under medical supervision when available.
